Building Better Regions Fund Community Investments Stream Round Two

Round two of the Building Better Regions Fund is now accepting applications!

The program will fund projects with the objective of creating jobs, driving economic growth and building a stronger community. There are two streams of funding available for projects under the program:

Infrastructure Project Stream supports projects which involve the construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure.

Community Investment Stream funds new and expanding local events, strategic regional plans, leadership and capability strengthening activities.

The minimum grant available is $5,000 and the maximum grant amount is $10 million. 

Who, What and How to Apply

To be eligible, your organisation must be a legal entity and have an ABN and classed as one of the following:

  • A local governing body as defined by the Local Government (Financial Assistance) Act 1995.
  • A not for profit organisation.

Funding is limited to organisations located in what have been deemed ‘regional areas’. In the Longman electorate this is including, but not limited to

  • Bribie Island, Ningi, Donnybrook, Beachmere, Woodfood and D’aguilar.
